Scope
The technical conditions of this standard are divided into very low frequency-low frequency (VLF-LF) lightning positioning system, which mainly monitors ground lightning activity, and very high frequency (VHF) lightning radiation source detection and positioning system, which mainly monitors cloud flash activity. This standard applies to lightning detection and positioning equipment for lightning observation services, and the construction and operation of regional and national lightning monitoring networks.
