This specification applies to the design and construction of petrochemical equipment (towers, heat exchangers, containers, pumps, etc.) and pipeline insulation projects. This specification does not apply to the design of internal insulation linings of equipment and pipelines and the design and construction of insulation projects for pipelines, long-distance pipelines and temporary facilities with special requirements.
