Scope

This standard specifies a method for determining the hydrocarbon composition of middle distillates using mass spectrometry. This standard is applicable to middle distillates with a distillation range of 204°C to 365°C (recovery temperature of 5% to 95% volume fraction measured using GB/T 6536), and can analyze samples with average paraffin carbon numbers between C and C. . Determine the composition of eleven types of hydrocarbons, including paraffins, monocyclic cycloalkanes, bicyclic cycloalkanes, tricyclic cycloalkanes, alkylbenzenes, indenes and/or tetralins, indenes and/or CH, naphthalenes, and acenaphthenes and/or CH, acenaphthylenes and/or CH
