Scope
1.1 This standard specifies the method for determination of total nitrogen content in liquid petroleum hydrocarbons. This standard is suitable for the determination of naphtha, petroleum fractions and other oils with a boiling point range of 50 ℃ ~ 400 ℃, a viscosity range of about 0.2mm/s ~ 10mm/s at room temperature, and a total nitrogen content of 0.3mg/kg ~ 100mg/kg. Taste. 1.2 For samples with a total nitrogen content greater than 100 mg/kg in liquid petroleum hydrocarbons, the SH/T 0704 method is more applicable. Collaborative experimental studies between laboratories have shown that this method can also be applied to samples outside the range specified by the method by selecting an appropriate solvent to dilute the nitrogen content and viscosity range of the sample to the range specified by the method. However, the operator should check the solubility of the sample in the solvent and confirm that when the diluted sample is injected directly into the furnace with a syringe, the measurement results will not be lower due to pyrolysis of the sample or solvent in the needle tube. 1.3 This standard uses International System of Units [SI] units. 1.4 This standard covers certain hazardous materials, operations and equipment, but is not intended to provide recommendations on all safety issues related thereto.
