Scope

This standard specifies the sampling, inspection items, inspection methods and inspection results judgment rules for imported and exported oil drill pipes. This standard is applicable to the inspection of drill pipes of various specifications and wall thicknesses listed in API Spec 5D for Group 1 and Group 3 used in oil wells.
