Scope

This part specifies the sampling, inspection and result determination of import and export high-voltage porcelain insulators. This part is applicable to the inspection of porcelain insulators used in import and export overhead power lines, electrical devices and equipment with a rated voltage of 1 000 V and above and a frequency not exceeding 100 Hz. This part is applicable to the inspection of the following seven types of high-voltage porcelain insulator products:
　——disc suspension porcelain insulators;
　——pin-type porcelain insulators for high-voltage lines;
　——butterfly-type porcelain insulators for high-voltage lines;
　——tension porcelain insulators for overhead power lines;
　——post-type porcelain insulators for high-voltage lines;
　——high-voltage pillar porcelain insulators;
　——porcelain sleeves for 110 kV and 220 kV outdoor oil-free circuit breakers. Other types of porcelain insulators can refer to this part. This part is not applicable to the inspection of insulators used under conditions that damage insulating parts and metal accessories.
