Scope
This standard specifies the energy efficiency requirements, test methods and result judgments for imported and exported electric welding machines. This standard applies to welding machines designed for industrial and professional use and powered by a nominal voltage of three-phase four-wire 220/380 V or three-phase three-wire 380/660 V. This standard is applicable to the energy efficiency inspection of imported and exported electric welding machines. This standard does not apply to AC TIG arc welding machines, AC and DC dual-purpose TIG arc welding machines, arc welding machines driven by mechanical equipment, and manual metal arc welding power sources with limited loads used by non-professionals.
