Method principle and technological innovation

Adopting gradient elution technology (acetonitrile/water system), by optimizing the extraction solvent:

  • Solvent-based coatings: n-hexane ultrasonic extraction
  • Water-based coatings: tetrahydrofuran-n-hexane (1:1) mixed extraction

Actual application case

A certain coatings export company found that the UV-328 content reached 1,200mg/kg according to this standard. By adjusting the formula, the concentration was successfully controlled within the limit of EU REACH regulations.
