Taking the assessment of a chemical plant in a certain country as an example, the following points need to be checked:
- Whether the SRM special container uses the red biohazard logo
- Whether the chemical process meets the 133℃/20min/3bar standard
- Consistency between the processing records and the cattle traceability system data
Implementation suggestions
To the assessor
- It is recommended to issue Appendix A questionnaire 6 months in advance to reserve time for supplementary materials
- The on-site assessment should include a feed ingredient testing laboratory blind sample test
To the assessed party
- It is necessary to prepare the original records of ruminant feed testing for the past 8 years
- It is recommended to establish a video surveillance archive for the entire SRM processing process
