Scope

1.0.1 In order to ensure that the sacrificial anode cathodic protection system on the inner wall of the oil and gas treatment container (hereinafter referred to as the container) is technologically advanced, economical, reasonable, safe and applicable, this specification is specially formulated. 1.0.2 This specification applies to the design, installation, operation and maintenance of sacrificial anode cathodic protection systems for the water-immersed surfaces of the inner walls of steel oil and gas processing vessels, heat exchangers and other process vessels. 1.0.3 In addition to complying with this specification, the design, installation, operation and maintenance of the sacrificial anode cathodic protection system on the inner wall of the vessel should also comply with the relevant national mandatory standards.
