Environmental adaptability
The instrument needs to pass 4 types of temperature zone tests (-40℃~+60℃ is the most severe), and the vibration test needs to meet the conditions of 55Hz/20m/s² for 30 minutes. It is recommended that the alpine oilfield give priority to the low temperature resistant tester.
Dynamic liquid level measurement performance
In the actual measurement case of Karamay Oilfield, when the casing pressure is greater than 0.5MPa, the liquid level tester needs to meet the 3500m range ±10m error requirement. The sounder pressure test shows that the II group equipment has no leakage at 3MPa pressure for 10 minutes.
Implementation suggestions
- Model matching: Select the corresponding temperature group according to the actual working conditions of the oil field (e.g. -40℃ version is required for extremely cold areas)
- Periodic verification: It is recommended to conduct insulation resistance test every 6 months (>20MΩ@500V DC)
- Explosion-proof management: Explosive environments must use explosion-proof testers that have passed GB 3836 certification
Standard evolution background
This standard responds to the needs of the intelligent transformation of the oil industry. The main changes are: deleting the obsolete mechanical recording requirements (Appendix AG of the 2007 version), strengthening the repeatability of the electronic acquisition system (3.4.2) and wireless transmission performance (30m distance requirement). The revision was led by companies such as Jianghan Petroleum Instruments Co., Ltd., reflecting the current development trend of downhole monitoring technology towards digitalization and explosion-proof safety.
