Scope

This standard specifies the technical conditions for commonly used specifications of straight seam resistance welded casing. This standard is applicable to the ordering and testing of straight seam resistance welded casing for general purposes. The technical conditions for straight seam resistance welded casing for special purposes (such as thermal recovery wells) shall be separately agreed upon with reference to this standard.
