Introduction

Standard Revision Background and Technology Evolution

SY/T 6106-2020, as the core standard of the oil and gas industry, replaces the 2014 version and achieves three major upgrades: expanding the scope of application to igneous/metamorphic gas fields, strengthening risk control and introducing ISO 9004 process management concepts, and improving the technical framework and adding a new development model and mining method optimization system. Compared with previous revisions, this revision focuses on solving the problem of standardization of special gas reservoir development countermeasures.

Core content structure

ChaptersTechnical pointsInnovative content
Chapter 6Main development strategiesNew development model flow chart (Figure 1) and 9 types of gas reservoir supplementary strategies
Chapter 7Scheme preparation contentDetailed marine engineering requirements, new Appendix AC informative appendix
Chapter 8Report specificationsOptimize the attached map system, and increase the requirements for dynamic monitoring results maps

Key technical requirements

1. Development model selection

Based on the reserve mobility and production capacity stability, the standard proposes 5 basic development modes:

  • Overall stable production mode: Applicable to conventional gas reservoirs with good reservoir connectivity and stable production capacity
  • Differentiated development mode: Unitized development for highly heterogeneous gas reservoirs
  • Water control development mode: Actively water-invaded gas reservoirs require a drainage well network

2. Development indicator demonstration

Taking a tight gas field as an example, the following points need to be demonstrated:

  1. The economic limit production of a single well (usually 10,000-30,000 cubic meters/day)
  2. Well spacing optimization (reference limit supply radius + 30% safety margin)
  3. Gas production rate (Appendix B recommends 2-3%, which needs to be verified by numerical simulation)

Countermeasures for special gas reservoirs

Gas reservoir typeKey technologyRisk prevention and control
Acidic gas reservoirsGB/T 20972 material selectionCorrosion monitoring system + safe release design
Condensate gas reservoirsPhase retention technologyEarly control of production pressure difference
Volcanic gas reservoirsFracture network modelingMulti-well combination development

Implementation recommendations

1. Dynamic adjustment mechanism: The plan should reserve 10-15% of spare wells to deal with geological uncertainties
2. Pilot test requirements: Tight gas reservoirs require production capacity verification of more than three test wells
3. Digital delivery: It is recommended to use BIM technology to achieve 3D visualization of ground engineering
