Scope
This standard specifies the requirements for technical and safety management measures to prevent excessive filling of storage tanks in petroleum facilities. This standard applies to storage tanks or facilities containing Class I and Class II liquid petroleum in the petroleum and petrochemical industries. This standard does not apply to the following situations: underground storage tanks, above-ground storage tanks with a capacity of less than 5000L, containers in petrochemical processes, storage tanks containing Class III liquids, storage tanks containing non-flammable liquids, and cars, trains, and ships. of storage tanks.
