Scope

In order to implement the current relevant national guidelines and policies in the hydraulic protection design of oil and gas transmission pipeline projects, unify design technical standards, and make the hydraulic protection design of oil and gas transmission pipeline projects meet the requirements of safety, application, advanced technology, and economic and reasonable requirements, this document is made this specification. This specification is applicable to the hydraulic protection design of newly built, expanded or reconstructed oil and gas pipeline line projects on land, as well as oil and gas pipeline line maintenance projects in service. In addition to complying with this code, the hydraulic protection design should also comply with the relevant national standards.
