Scope

This standard specifies the configuration principles, combination types and installation requirements of the well control system of offshore drilling equipment. This standard is applicable to the supporting and installation of well control systems for conventional deep water offshore drilling equipment. This standard does not apply to deepwater offshore drilling equipment.
