Scope

This standard specifies the technical requirements for reservoir geological design of conventional horizontal well target areas in sandstone and carbonate reservoirs. The geological design of conventional horizontal well target areas in sandy conglomerate and igneous rock reservoirs may be implemented with reference to this standard. This standard is applicable to the geological design of single well conventional horizontal wells in sandstone, sandy conglomerate, carbonate rock and igneous rock reservoirs.
