Scope
This standard specifies the basic types and technical parameters, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging and transportation of track flat cars (hereinafter referred to as flat cars). This standard applies to the design, manufacture and inspection of new standard gauge flat cars. Flat cars with non-standard gauges can also be implemented with reference to the relevant provisions of this standard.
