Introduction

Standard evolution and scope of application

TB/T 3166-2016 replaces the 2007 version of the standard, adding 8 key technical requirements such as AC motor parameter measurement, which is applicable to diesel locomotives with electric/hydraulic transmission, and the test accuracy is improved to torque measurement ±1.0%.

Key test parameter system

Appendix A specifies 42 types of measurement parameters, including the following:

  • AC motor phase angle (accuracy ±0.5°)
  • Harmonic distortion rate (THD≤3%)
  • Transient response time (<100ms)

Typical calculation model

Case:When DF8B locomotive is tested at an altitude of 500m, the wheel traction correction formula is:

Fcorrected = Fmeasured × (1 + 0.03×Δh/1000)

Where Δh is the altitude difference, and when the ambient temperature exceeds the limit, the temperature compensation coefficient needs to be added.


Implementation suggestions

  1. The test bench needs to be equipped with a dynamic power analyzer to meet the AC parameter measurement
  2. It is recommended to establish an automatic compensation system for environmental parameters
  3. The magnetic field weakening test should include dynamic acquisition in the transition zone
