Scope

This part of TB/T 3256 specifies the equipment, tools, equipment, magnetization specifications, performance verification, magnetic particle testing operations, quality assessment and magnetic particle testing records for magnetic particle testing of railway locomotive wheels. This section is applicable to the wet magnetic particle inspection of axles, wheels (non-integral wheel structures include wheel hoops and cast steel wheel centers) and driven gears of locomotive wheelsets (fully suspended and semi-suspended) using special magnetic particle testing machines for wheel sets. except). The secondary re-inspection of the magnetic particle inspection of the re-processed parts of the repaired wheel set and the processed parts of the new wheel set after assembly can be performed according to this section. The second re-inspection only checks the re-processed position.
