Scope

Article 1 These rules are formulated in accordance with the Regulations on Safety Supervision of Special Equipment in order to standardize the assessment of special equipment inspectors. Article 2 Special equipment inspectors refer to personnel who are engaged in supervisory inspection and periodic inspection of special equipment within the scope of application of the Regulations on Safety Supervision of Special Equipment and make inspection conclusions (hereinafter referred to as inspectors). Inspectors shall obtain the corresponding "Special Equipment Inspection and Testing Personnel Certificate (Inspector)" (hereinafter referred to as "Inspector Certificate") after assessment in accordance with the requirements of these rules before they can practice and engage in corresponding inspection work. Article 3 The inspectors specified in these rules are divided into inspectors and inspectors according to their levels; they are divided into supervisory inspection and periodic inspection according to the inspection categories; their certificate items include boilers, pressure vessels, pressure pipelines, gas cylinders, elevators, lifting machinery, large amusement facilities, passenger ropeways and special motor vehicles within the site (factory). The levels, categories, items (hereinafter referred to as items) of various inspectors and their codes and the division of inspection scope are shown in Appendix A. Article 4 The assessment procedures for inspectors include examinations and approval and certification. Personnel who apply for the "Inspector Certificate" (hereinafter referred to as applicants, including examination applicants and certificate applicants) shall first pass the examination (hereinafter referred to as the certificate examination) and apply to the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine of the People's Republic of China (hereinafter referred to as the AQSIQ) or its authorized department (hereinafter referred to as the issuing authority) for the "Inspector Certificate" with the certificate of passing the examination. The validity period of the "Inspector Certificate" is 4 years. If you need to continue to engage in inspection work after the expiration of the validity period, you must go through the renewal procedures in a timely manner in accordance with the time specified in these rules (hereinafter referred to as renewal of certificates). Article 5 The assessment of inspectors shall be organized and implemented by the AQSIQ. The institution responsible for the inspection personnel examination (hereinafter referred to as the examination institution) shall be determined by the AQSIQ; the institution responsible for the renewal review within its administrative area (hereinafter referred to as the renewal review institution) shall be determined by the provincial quality and technical supervision department (hereinafter referred to as the provincial quality supervision department).
