本标准是在卫生部颁分的《全国临床检验操作规程》（第二版）的基础上，参考NCCLS标准，结合中国国情及卫生系统的实际情况和要求而制定。
本规程规定了评价Mueller-Hinton琼脂（M-H琼脂）产品批号的要求，包括制造商评价（M-H琼脂）产品批号的规则及评价新的参考培基的规则。
本规程仅适用于评价纸片扩散法抗生素敏感试验用M-H琼脂的检验，而不能保证M-H琼脂在其他试验中的质量，例如琼脂稀释或抗生素梯度试验。

Scope

This procedure specifies the requirements for evaluating Mueller-Hinton agar (MH agar) product lot numbers, including the rules for manufacturers to evaluate (MH agar) product lot numbers and the rules for evaluating new reference media. This procedure is only applicable to the evaluation of MH agar used in disk diffusion antibiotic susceptibility testing, and cannot guarantee the quality of MH agar in other tests, such as agar dilution or antibiotic gradient tests.
