Scope
This standard specifies the terms and definitions, classification and marking, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking and quality certificates, packaging, transportation and storage of steel short cylindrical head crimping rigging. This standard applies to wire rope pressed rigging with a nominal diameter of 3mm to 32mm and a nominal tensile strength of not more than 1960MPa. This standard does not apply to fiber core steel wire ropes.
