本标准适用于滤嘴卷烟。一般应使用直接法,只有滤嘴材料(如活性炭类滤嘴)截留的总植物碱不能被完全萃取时才应使用间接法,间接法不适用于通风滤嘴卷烟。
Scope
This standard specifies two methods for the determination of total plant base retention in cigarette filters:
——direct method;
——indirect method. This standard applies to filter cigarettes. Generally, the direct method should be used. The indirect method should be used only when the total plant alkaloids trapped by the filter material (such as activated carbon filter) cannot be completely extracted. The indirect method is not suitable for ventilated filter cigarettes. Note: The interception efficiency of cigarette filters for total plant alkaloids is not necessarily consistent with the interception efficiency of other components.
