Scope

This standard specifies the equipment classification, technical requirements and test methods for base group multiplexing equipment (which can provide 384kbit/s digital interface). This standard is applicable to base group multiplexing equipment with channel associated signaling interface function, digital data interface function and 2048kbit/s symmetrical cable line terminal function.
