Introduction
Technical background of the standard
This standard was proposed by the National Technical Committee for Standardization of Nonferrous Metals (SAC/TC 243) and jointly formulated by 10 units including Baoti Group, filling the gap in the standard for simultaneous detection of multiple elements in titanium materials. The inductively coupled plasma emission spectrometer is used to achieve efficient determination of 23 impurity elements, which is 5-8 times more efficient than traditional chemical analysis.
Principle of the method
After the sample is dissolved in the hydrochloric acid-hydrofluoric acid-nitric acid system, it is excited in the ICP-AES plasma light source, and the content is calculated by measuring the intensity of the characteristic spectral lines of each element using the working curve method. Key operating points
1. Sample pretreatment
Use PTFE beakerDissolve the sample, strictly control the temperature: ≤70℃ for B and Si, other elements can be heated appropriately. Complete dissolution is marked by clear solution without suspended matter.
2. Standard solution configuration
Standard storage solution must meet the following requirements:
- Matrix matching: Use 99.99% high purity titanium as base
- Acidity control: HCl-HF-HNO₃ system consistent with the sample solution
- Concentration gradient: Configure the calibration points recommended in Table 3

Key points of quality control
- Each batch of tests must be accompanied by matrix blanks and certified standards
- Regularly check the nebulizer efficiency (≥98%)
- Spectral line interference correction: use interference coefficient method or MSF correction
Abnormal handling
When When the results of Zr and Hf are abnormal, it is recommended to:
- Check the amount of hydrofluoric acid added (2±0.1mL)
- Verify the sealing of the hydrofluoric acid resistant injection system
