YS/T 1270-2018 is a professional technical standard developed by my country's nonferrous metals industry for yttria-stabilized zirconia powder for thermal spraying. Published in October 2018 and implemented in April 2019, the standard was jointly drafted by several research institutions, including the Beijing Mining and Metallurgical Technology Group, marking a significant advancement in the standardization of high-end ceramic powder materials in my country.

3.1 Chemical composition requirements
The standard stipulates that ZrO₂+HfO₂ is used as the matrix remainder, and the content of impurities such as Fe₂O₃, SiO₂, Al₂O₃, and TiO₂ is strictly controlled. 1.5-2.0μm
Y₂O₃ content was determined according to GB/T 14635, and other elements were detected according to YS/T 568 series standards:
- Fe₂O₃: o-phenanthroline spectrophotometry
- SiO₂: molybdenum blue spectrophotometry
- Al₂O₃: chrome azurol S spectrophotometry
4.2 Physical properties test
Particle size is tested using the double standard method: ≥45μm according to GB/T 1480, <45μm according to GB/T 19077 laser diffraction method.
