Scope

This standard specifies the requirements, test methods, inspection rules and marking, packaging, transportation and storage of high-purity platinum sponge. This standard applies to high-purity platinum sponges for use in the chemical industry, electrical instruments, precision alloys and temperature measurement materials, which are prepared after separation and purification of various platinum-containing materials.
