Scope

This part of YY 0832 specifies the scope of application, terminology, performance requirements and test methods of head X-ray radiotherapy stereotactic and planning systems. This section applies to the head X-ray radiotherapy stereotactic and planning system (hereinafter referred to as the system). The system is used in conjunction with a medical electron accelerator to deliver stereotactic radiation therapy to small lesions in the head and neck.
