Scope
This standard specifies the terms and definitions, requirements, packaging, marking and storage requirements for disposable sterile dental needles (hereinafter referred to as dental needles). This standard applies to dental needles installed on dental cartridge syringes that comply with ISO 9997 for dental local anesthesia, but does not apply to dental needles for special applications and techniques.
