本标准规定了对该产品的要求，测试方法以及使用这类产品所提供的说明，同时对可摘义齿的佩戴者使用的义齿黏附剂进行了分类。
本标准适用于公众所使用的义齿黏附剂，不包括处方类或专业牙科医生用的牙科软衬材料。

Scope

This standard classifies denture adhesives for use by wearers of removable dentures; it also specifies the requirements for the products, test methods and instructions for the use of such products. This standard applies to denture adhesives used by the public and does not include prescription or dental lining materials used by professional dentists. This standard does not contain qualitative and quantitative requirements for possible biological hazards, but it is recommended to refer to ISO 7405 and ISO 10993-1 when evaluating possible biological hazards.
