Scope

This procedure applies to the design, construction and acceptance of domestic water supply and hot water pipelines in industrial and civil buildings. This regulation is applicable to cold water pipeline systems with pipeline design pressure not greater than 1.0MPa and supply water temperature not greater than 45°C, as well as hot water pipeline systems with pipeline design pressure not greater than 0.6MPa and supply water temperature not greater than 75°C. This regulation does not apply to fire water supply systems in buildings or domestic water supply systems connected to fire protection flood systems. The chlorinated polyvinyl chloride pipes and fittings used in this regulation for water supply shall comply with the requirements of the current relevant national standards.
