Scope
This standard specifies the classification and marking, requirements, inspection methods, inspection rules, marking and packaging of marine steel pipe butt-welding joints (hereinafter referred to as pipe joints). This standard applies to the design, manufacture and acceptance of pipe joints in ship piping systems.
