1. Innovation of classification system

The new standard establishes a three-dimensional classification matrix:

  • Compressive strength: 7 levels (Grade I ≥60kPa to Grade VII ≥800kPa)
  • Insulation performance: Dual-track system of Grade 033/Grade 037
  • Combustion performance: Three-level division of B1 (difficult to burn) - B3 (flammable)

Application case

A cold chain logistics project selected products marked with EPS-Ⅳ-B1-033, which not only met the load-bearing requirements (200-300kPa) of -18℃ cold storage, but also met the B1 fire protection zone standard.
