Scope

This part of GB1094 applies to the following reactors:
——Parallel reactors;
——Series reactors, including limiting reactors, neutral point grounded reactors, power control reactors, motor starting reactors, and electric arc furnace series reactors;
——Filter (tuned) reactors;
——Reactors for damping capacitors;
——Discharge reactors for capacitors;
——Grounding transformers (neutral point couplers);
——Arc suppression coils,
——High voltage DC transmission and industrial smoothing reactors, but the following reactors are excluded:
——Single-phase reactors with a rated capacity less than 1 kvar and three-phase reactors with a rated capacity less than 5 kvar;
——Various dedicated reactors, such as high-frequency line blocking reactors or reactors installed on railway vehicles. Where small reactors or dedicated reactors do not have corresponding standards, the entire or part of this section may apply.
