Scope

This standard specifies the determination of the change in mass (excluding water) of petroleum asphalt when heated under specified conditions. This standard applies to petroleum asphalt. This standard does not involve safety regulations related to use, and it is the responsibility of standard users to formulate appropriate safety application regulations before use.
