Scope

This part specifies the test conditions, test procedures and environmental test marks for low temperature, high temperature and damp heat tests. This section applies to optical instruments, instruments incorporating optical components and optical components. The purpose of this test is to study the extent to which the optical, thermal, chemical and electrical properties of the sample are affected by temperature and humidity.
