1 Subject Content and Application Scope

This standard specifies test method of maximum speed of motor vehicles.
This standard is applicable to all kinds of motor vehicles.

3 Test Conditions

3.1 Testing instruments and appliances
a. Timer (including stopwatch, and other timing devices like photoelectric cell type may also be used), 0.01s least reading;
b. Steel tape;
c. Mark post.
3.2 Other test conditions are according to GB/T 12534.

4 Preparation of Test Vehicles

4.1 Shall be carried out according to GB/T 12534.
4.2 Close door and window of vehicles.
4.3 Inspect steering mechanism of test vehicles, fastening condition of each fastener and braking system performance for safety of the test.
