《GB/T 17360-2020微束分析 钢中低含量硅、锰的电子探针定量分析方法》由TC38(全国微束分析标准化技术委员会)归口,主管部门为国家标准化管理委员会。
Introduction
Analysis of the core content of the standard
This standard specifies the calibration curve method for determining the silicon (0.18%-5%) and manganese (0.18%-5%) content in steel using electron probe spectrometer, focusing on solving the limitations of the traditional matrix correction method in low-content analysis:
| Technical elements | 2008 edition | 2020 edition improvement |
|---|---|---|
| Terminology | "Calibration curve method" | "Calibration curve method" |
| Correlation coefficient requirements | R≥0.98 | R≥0.99 |
| Uncertainty assessment | Not included | New complete evaluation system |
Key technology implementation points
1. Instrument configuration requirements
An electron probe or scanning electron microscope spectroscopy system equipped with a pulse height analyzer must be used. Energy spectrometer is not applicable. Recommended configuration:
- Silicon analysis: TAP/PET crystal, 15-20kV accelerating voltage
- Manganese analysis: LiF crystal, 20-25kV accelerating voltage
2. Reference material selection
Must meet the requirements of GB/T 4930, special attention:
Case: When analyzing alloy steel containing Cr, the reference material should contain an equal amount of Cr element to avoid spectral line interference
Measurement uncertainty control
Main sources of uncertainty and control measures:
| Influencing factors | Contribution | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Counting statistical error | 45%-60% | Guaranteed characteristic peak counts>5000 |
| Background correction | 15%-25% | Use bilateral linear interpolation |
| Amplitude drift effect | 10%-15% | Control count rate<20000cps |
Standard application suggestions
- It is recommended to use 6-8 reference material points when creating a new calibration curve
- When analyzing manganese, special attention should be paid to the fluorescence effect of the iron Kβ line (0.1757nm) on the manganese Kα
- Regularly verify the stability of the instrument with pure element standards
Typical application: A laboratory used this standard to determine 0.35% Si in electrical steel, with an expanded uncertainty of 0.008% (k=2)
