Scope

This standard specifies the types and technical conditions of equipment required for manual measurement of the liquid level or corresponding volume of petroleum and liquid petroleum products in storage tanks or other oil storage containers. This standard applies to the design, manufacture and use selection of manual liquid level measuring equipment.
