《GB/T 13299-1991钢的显微组织评定方法》由TC183（全国钢标准化技术委员会）归口，TC183SC14（全国钢标准化技术委员会金相检验方法分会）执行，主管部门为中国钢铁工业协会。
本标准规定了钢的游离渗碳体、低碳变形钢的珠光体、带状组织及魏氏组织的金相评定方法、评定原则和组织特征等。本标准适用于低碳、中碳钢的钢板、钢带和型材的显微组织评定；其他钢种根据有关标准或协议，可参照本标准评定。

Scope

This standard specifies the metallographic evaluation methods, evaluation principles and structural characteristics of free cementite in steel, pearlite, banded structure and Widmanstatten structure in low-carbon deformed steel. This standard is applicable to the evaluation of the microstructure of low-carbon and medium-carbon steel plates, steel strips and profiles; other steel types can be evaluated by referring to this standard according to relevant standards or agreements.
