《GB/T 13396-1992中国标准音像制品编码》由TC4（全国信息与文献标准化技术委员会）归口，主管部门为国家标准化管理委员会。
本标准规定了中国标准音像制品编码的结构和显示方式，适用于在中国注册的音像制品出版者所录制出版的音像制品，使每一种音像制品以及它所包含的每一项独立的节目均可获得一个唯一的国际标准音像制品编码(ISRC)，并具有明显的类别区分。采用本编码不仅为音像制品的出版、发行及收藏等部门进行科学管理和信息交换创造方便条件，也有利于音像制品的版板保护和市场管理。

Scope

This standard specifies the structure and display method of the Chinese standard audio-visual product codes, and is applicable to audio-visual products recorded and published by audio-visual product publishers registered in China, so that each audio-visual product and each independent program it contains A unique International Standard Audiovisual Product Code (ISRC) can be obtained, and has a clear category distinction. The adoption of this code not only creates convenient conditions for the scientific management and information exchange of the publishing, distribution and collection departments of audio-visual products, but also facilitates the copyright protection and market management of audio-visual products.
