《GB/T 13404-2008管法兰用非金属聚四氟乙烯包覆垫片》由TC237（全国管路附件标准化技术委员会）归口，主管部门为中国机械工业联合会。
本标准代替GB/T 13404-1992 《管法兰用聚四氟乙烯包覆垫片》。
本标准规定了管法兰用非金属聚四氟乙烯包覆垫片的型式与尺寸、要求、标记，检验，标志、包装和贮运。
本标准适用于公称尺寸DN10~DN600，公称压力PN6~PN63和公称尺寸NPS1/2~NPS24，公称压力Class150、Class300的突面法兰用非金属聚四氟乙烯包覆垫片。
本标准与GB/T 13404-1992相比主要变化如下：
――修改了标准名称、适用范围、型式代号；
――将尺寸按PN系列和Class系列分别编排，删除了垫片内径D2尺寸，修改了部分内径尺寸，修改了尺寸偏差；
――修改了垫片的使用温度，明确了对使用温度的要求；
――夹嵌层材料增加了非石棉纤维橡胶板和橡胶板，补充了常用夹嵌层材料代号和推荐使用温度；
――性能试验温度由25℃改为18℃~28℃（室温），试验样品改为89×132×3（mm）B型；
――增加了降四氟乙烯包覆非石棉纤维橡胶垫和聚四氟乙烯包覆橡胶型的性能指标；修改了聚四氟乙烯包覆石棉橡胶垫片的压缩率指标；
――完善了标准结构，增加第5章、第6章和第7章的技术内容。

Scope

This standard specifies the type and size, requirements, marking, inspection, marking, packaging, storage and transportation of non-metallic polytetrafluoroethylene coated gaskets (hereinafter referred to as) for pipe flanges. This standard is applicable to non-metallic polytetrafluoroethylene-coated gaskets for raised face flanges with nominal size DN10~DN600, nominal pressure PN6~PN63, nominal size NPS1/2~NPS24, and nominal pressure Class150 and Class300.
