本标准规定了使用磁性测厚仪无损测量磁性和非磁性基体上镍电镀层厚度的方法。本标准适用于磁性和非磁性基体上镍电镀层厚度的检验。本标准不适用于自动催化(非电镀)镍镀层。

Scope

This standard specifies the method for the non-destructive measurement of the thickness of nickel plating on magnetic and non-magnetic substrates using a magnetic thickness gauge. This standard applies to the inspection of the thickness of nickel plating on magnetic and non-magnetic substrates. This standard does not apply to autocatalytic (electroless) nickel coatings.
