Scope

This standard specifies the classification, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, marking, transportation and storage of safety valves for marine air cylinders. This standard applies to the design, manufacture and acceptance of safety valves with design pressures of 1.1MPa and 3.3Mpa respectively.
