Test system requirements

According to the standard, the test system must have the function of automatically controlling the medium temperature and flow rate. During the test, the temperature deviation of each operating point should not exceed ±0.5℃, and the flow rate deviation should not exceed ±1%.

Medium selection and accuracy requirements

The standard specifies the test medium corresponding to different heat exchanger types:

  • Oil cooler uses diesel engine oil with quality grade CC in GB11122-2006.
  • Water cooler and condenser use clean fresh water.
  • Air cooler uses air medium.

Measuring instrument accuracy requirements

The accuracy of temperature, pressure and flow measuring instruments must meet the requirements of Tables 1 to 3. For example:

Implementation Suggestions

To ensure the accuracy and reliability of the test, it is recommended that:

  • Strictly control the test environment temperature and humidity and keep them within the standard requirements (5℃~30℃, 85% or less).
  • Select measuring instruments that meet the accuracy requirements and calibrate them regularly.
  • Reasonably design the variable working condition test plan to ensure that the number and interval of measuring points meet the standard requirements.
