《GB/T 15054.2-2018小螺纹 第2部分:公差和极限尺寸》由TC108(全国螺纹标准化技术委员会)归口,主管部门为国家标准化管理委员会。
Introduction
1. Standard Overview
GB/T 15054.2—2018 "Small Threads Part 2: Tolerances and Limit Dimensions" replaces the original GB/T 15054.4—1994 and GB/T 15054.5—1994, and is mainly applicable to small threads with a nominal diameter range of $0.3\mathrm{mm}{\sim}1.4\mathrm{mm}$. This standard specifies the tolerances, limit dimensions, markings and inspection methods of small threads in detail.
2. Comparison of standard frameworks
| Standard version | Scope of application | Main technical changes | |
|---|---|---|---|
| GB/T 15054.4—1994 | Small thread tolerance | - Delete the 5th grade tolerance of the major diameter of the external thread - Delete the content of the tolerance zone of the coated thread - Delete the content of the preferred tolerance zone of the thread | |
| GB/T 15054.5—1994 | Small thread limit size | - Change the nominal diameter to $1~\mathrm{mm}$ | - Standardized the marking and position of tolerance bands- Added thread inspection content- Optimized the limit size table structure |
3. Analysis of standard formulation background and technological evolution
With the continuous advancement of mechanical manufacturing technology, small threads are increasingly used in the fields of automobiles, aerospace, etc. The old standard mainly targets tolerances and limit sizes within a specific range, which can no longer meet the needs of modern precision manufacturing. GB/T 15054.2—2018 further improves the scientificity and applicability of the standard by integrating and optimizing the original standard content.
In terms of technological evolution, the new standard introduces more precise tolerance zone positions and limit size tables, and increases the flexibility of inspection methods to meet the needs of different application scenarios.
4. Implementation suggestions
- Design stage: It is recommended to refer to this standard in the early stages of product design to ensure that the thread parameters meet the tolerance requirements.
- Production stage: Manufacturing companies should be equipped with corresponding thread detection equipment and perform quality control in accordance with the inspection methods recommended in Appendix B.
- Maintenance stage: Users should regularly inspect threaded connections to ensure that they meet the limit size requirements specified in the standard.
