Scope

This standard specifies the terminology, product classification, raw material requirements, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules and signs, packaging, transportation, storage, and shelf life of powdery and granular plant spices and seasonings. This standard is applicable to the spices and condiments used in food, which are made of vegetable spices as the main raw material or with other auxiliary materials.
