Scope

This standard stipulates the variety specifications, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, supply methods, packaging and signs of platinum-rhodium 13-platinum thermocouple wire. This standard applies to the manufacture of industrial platinum-rhodium 13-platinum thermocouples (R-type thermocouples) and standard platinum-rhodium 13-platinum thermocouple wires (hereinafter referred to as wires).
