Recommendations for the implementation of the standard
- Resin-containing materials must be pretreated at 200-400℃
- Silicon carbide samples must be ground with a tungsten carbide mortar
- Attention should be paid to eliminating interference from the silicon matrix when determining by ICP-AES
Technology Evolution Analysis
This standard reduces the free carbon detection limit from 0.1% to 0.01% and shortens the silicon carbide determination time from 8 hours to 2 hours by introducing advanced technologies such as infrared absorption and nitrogen-oxygen joint measurement, significantly improving the quality inspection efficiency of high-carbon refractory materials.
